How it works: buy & sell video games

Whether you are a gamer looking to thin your collection or a professional video game store, listing your items is free and very easy. We pre-populate a lot of the information for you, and ask you to upload some good images that show the condition of your items. The video game condition guide might be useful.

As soon as someone buys a game or console from you, you'll receive an email with all the order details. Make sure you pack the items properly and use the appropriate Royal Mail shipping method (please check our game shipping & packaging guide for some tips). Once you've posted it, confirm so on Mage, so we can let your buyer know.

The money will be transferred into your Mage wallet as soon as the buyer confirms they've received the items (or within 30 days if they don't do anything). You can then verify your ID, add your bank account details and cash out at any time. Selling on Mage is currently free: no listing fees, no commissions on sales.

A speedy shipping, proper packaging and games delivered as per your listing details should help you get nice reviews. You can also rate your buyers.

Looking for some retro games? Looking for some of the latest releases? Simple search for any titles and add the games (or consoles) to your shopping cart. We only allow UK sellers and buyers.

Once you make a purchase, the funds are not transferred to the seller until you have confirmed reception of your games (or automatically after 30 days if you don't confirm). If you had sold some games previously, you can use what you've earned to buy other games, or cash out. We work with MangoPay, a leading payment platform for peer-to-peer marketplaces.

When you receive your order, please confirm it on Mage as soon as possible. It's also time to leave a review to your seller: fair reviews help not only individual sellers but the whole community!
